Poppies grow
On the hill
Down the valley
And across the road.

No one knows
How many bow
Giving homage
To those that fell.

Giving their lives
For us to be free
Never once stopping
Turning back round
No, such brave ones
Onward they’d go.

I honor and bow
To the sacrifice they gave
As poppies bow silently
There, at their graves.

Brave men and women
Thank you, is all I can say
For what you have given
I honor you this and all days.
